Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a vibrant school community. This role offers the chance to utilize your skills to directly impact students well-being throughout the academic year. In this school-based LPN position, youll work onsite in a dynamic educational environment, providing compassionate care to students with varying health needs. This could range from dedicated 1:1 support to assisting multiple students with diverse diagnoses, making every day meaningful and engaging.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active LPN license issued by the state of South Carolina Prior experience in a school setting is preferred Comfortable working with students of all ages and diverse health backgrounds Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and collaborative educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to students in accordance with individualized health plans and school policies Provide 1:1 support or care to groups of students based on need Collaborate with school staff and parents to promote student health and safety Administer medications and perform routine health procedures as needed Maintain accurate nursing and health records in a timely manner Respond effectively to emergency situations and advocate for student needs This full-time assignment offers a consistent weekday schedule of 37.5 hours per week, letting you enjoy evenings and weekends free.
