1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel LPN for a Skilled Nursing unit on night shifts, requiring Tennessee licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of long-term care experience. Details Skilled nursing and rehab center setting, primarily supporting the 17-bed skilled nursing unit with potential float to long-term care (55 beds) Short-term rehab and long-term care resident population Patient ratio of 1:17 Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM No on-call or 48-hour requirements Block scheduling may be available upon request Floating to long-term care is possible Uses PointClickCare (PCC) EMR 13-week contract Requirements Active Tennessee LPN license required (license required if applicable) Current BLS certification required; no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the assignment start Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care experience required IV certification preferred Proficiency in medication pass and hands-on patient care Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include medication administration, patient rounds, wound care, and supervision of CNAs Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Scrub color requirement: royal blue First-time travelers are not mentioned as eligible — experienced travelers preferred
