Job Description

  • Job Title:
    Behavioral Health LVN/LPN
  • Mids
  • Join our team in Big Spring, TX, as a Behavioral Health LVN/LPN, where your passion for psychiatric care can make a difference.
  • Position Overview:
  • Duration:
  • 26•week contract •
Schedule:
  • 40 hours/week, 2 pm
  • 10 pm, every other weekend off
  • Shift:
  • Mids, 5 x 8
  • hour shifts
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care in a psychiatric setting
  • Administer medications and monitor effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and patients
  • Adapt to various units as needed
  • Qualifications:
  • Active Texas LPN/LVN License
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • 2+ years LVN/LPN experience, 1+ year in psychiatry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Compliance with HHSC requirements
  • COVID
  • 19 vaccination
  • Additional Notes:
  • Initial orientation includes multiple unit assignments
  • Flexibility to float between units This role is perfect for a dedicated LVN/LPN eager to contribute to behavioral health.
