4:00 PM - 12:00 AM Position Overview We are seeking a qualified and compassionate LVN/LPN to provide safe, effective, and patient-centered nursing care to individuals at a state-supported living facility. The LVN/LPN will administer medications and treatments, perform nursing procedures, monitor individuals' health conditions, maintain accurate medical records, and respond appropriately to emergency situations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members. Key Responsibilities Administer prescribed medications and treatments through appropriate routes, including oral, rectal, internal, and injectable methods. Perform technical nursing procedures in accordance with facility policies, state regulations, and established competency requirements. Document and report pertinent observations regarding individuals' health status, treatments, and responses to care. Communicate important clinical information accurately and effectively to other members of the healthcare team, both verbally and in writing. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations while prioritizing the safety and well-being of individuals. Follow established infection control, safety, and facility procedures at all times. Monitor individuals during treatments, procedures, and other nursing interventions. Collect specimens for laboratory testing and perform appropriate screening tests once competency has been established. Provide health education and support to individuals based on their specific healthcare needs and goals. Assist other staff members with turning and repositioning individuals as needed to safely administer treatments and provide care. Maintain adequate nursing and medical supplies and ensure necessary equipment is available. Maintain and update individual medical records using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) or paper documentation system, as applicable. Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare regulations and facility policies. Attend work consistently and follow assigned schedules, including rotating shifts, extended shifts, weekends, or overtime when required. Perform other nursing-related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Current and unrestricted LVN/LPN license appropriate for the state of practice. BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Minimum of 2 years of recent LVN/LPN nursing experience . Demonstrated ability to safely administer medications and perform nursing procedures. Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Pay:
