We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care to residents. The LVN plays a key role in promoting the health, comfort, and dignity of our elderly residents by delivering quality nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with the care plan and physician orders. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to the RN or physician. Perform routine assessments and document resident care accurately and timely. Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate resident care. Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure high-quality care. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and facility policies. Participate in shift change reports, in-service education, and staff meetings.
