Job Description
Description Under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Nursing Coordinator and Assistant Clinical Coordinator and in collaboration with the Provider and/or Mid-Level Provider plans, directs and provides nursing care in accordance with established philosophy, policies and procedures of United Medical Centers. Responsible in carrying out all duties for the smooth operation of the assigned unit as demonstrated by approved competency assessment guidelines. Assists in the provision of health education and disease prevention services as needed and/or required. Responsible for demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served, including demonstrating knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span. Must be able to identify and categorize each patient's age-specific grouping of needs, such as those for infant, adolescent, or geriatric patients. Must be EHR proficient. Responsible for compliance with other requirements affecting the Medical Center, such as State/Federal regulations TJC, DSHS, HRSA and PCHM Compliance standards.
