Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Administer medications, change wound dressings, and monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. LVNs also provide personal care assistance, including bathing and grooming.

Health Monitoring:

Regularly assess and document the patient's health status, including any changes in condition, and communicate these to the healthcare team.

Patient Education:

Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and home care procedures to promote independence and recovery.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, physicians, and therapists, to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan tailored to the patient's needs.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of patient care, including observations, interventions, and progress notes, in compliance with agency policies.

Minimum Education and Requirements:

Active License to practice

Education:

Completion of an accredited LVN program and passing the

NCLEX-PN

exam to obtain licensure. Current CPR Certification Valid driver's license Social Security card Recent TB Results Relevant experience preferred Must be 21 years of age or older strong motivation and commitment to delivering high quality-patient care Pay Depends on Experience and will be discussed with applicant at the time of the interview by employer.
