Reports To:
Pediatric
RN / DON
Authority:
Provides delegated pediatric nursing services in home care settings under RN oversight.
Responsibilities:
Monitor pediatric vital signs, medication administration, and trach/gtube care. Support activities of daily living for children with complex medical needs. Communicate changes in condition to supervising RN. Reinforce education and family training. Maintain organized and uptodate documentation.
Qualifications:
Experience in pediatrics strongly preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
Virginia LPN license. Infant/child CPR.
Education:
LPN program graduate.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and reposition children; kneeling/sitting for floor care as needed.
