Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Job Summary:
Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking highly motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team of caregivers. As an LPN at Birchwood Terrace, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents, providing exceptional care and support in a beautiful and inspiring environment. We offer a positive and dynamic work environment, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Supervise Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) staff on assigned units Deliver care in accordance with Facility protocol and safe nursing practices Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other treatments as needed Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Requirements:
Current unencumbered State of Vermont LPN license Strong communication skills to communicate with residents, families, and staff Critical thinking skills to problem-solve and make informed decisions Ability to handle different situations with tact and professionalism High school diploma or equivalent required
