1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Behavioral Health role in a mental health and wellness setting, requiring BLS, MOAB or CPI certification, and at least 1 year of behavioral health or 2 years of acute/clinical experience. Details Works in the Medical Services unit of an outpatient/inpatient mental health and wellness center Serves an adult mental health and psychiatric patient population Uses Epic EMR (experience highly preferred) Scheduled for 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week No on-call requirements Requirements Current WA state LPN license required (license required if applicable) Minimum 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred; will consider candidates with 2+ years of acute care, clinic, urgent care, or inpatient experience Current BLS certification required MOAB or CPI certification required Proficiency in de-escalation techniques, medication administration, injections, vital signs, AIMS assessments, and blood draws Experience with administrative nursing tasks including refill requests, nursing line calls, lab result review, and psychiatric symptom monitoring Epic EMR experience highly preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include medication administration, injections, vital signs monitoring, AIMS assessments, blood draws, and assisting with psychiatric symptom monitoring Administrative duties include handling refill requests, responding to nursing line calls, and reviewing lab results Business casual attire or any color scrubs accepted First-time travelers will be considered for this position Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) are required prior to start; one reference may be submitted at the time of consideration
