Job Description
Grifols, in partnership with ABC Healthcare, seeks a compassionate LPN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this on-site role, you'll deliver hands-on patient care, obtain vitals, administer medications, support procedures, and maintain accurate EHR documentation. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes, educate patients and families, and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under RN/physician supervision, including vital signs, treatments, and routine procedures Administer medications and injections, following safety and infection-control protocols Monitor, document, and report changes in patient status using electronic health records Assist with admissions, discharges, and patient education on treatments and medications Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans Support physicians and RNs during exams, procedures, and emergencies Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant clinical environment Communicate compassionately with patients and families, respecting diverse backgrounds Participate in ongoing training and quality-improvement initiatives Uphold ABC Healthcare's standards of professionalism, ethics, and patient-centered care Required Skills Patient assessment Vital signs monitoring Medication administration Wound care Phlebotomy IV therapy (where state scope allows) Electronic health records (EHR) documentation Infection control Patient and family education Basic life support (BLS) Care plan implementation Clinical triage Time management Team collaboration HIPAA compliance
