MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Active LPN License in Washington CurrentBLS CPR/AED
certification Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including: Pediatric skillset Trach and vent care Seizure response and management- competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications G Tube management GJ Tube management Oxygen and airway management Medication administration Diapering Transfers and positioning Strong assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently Ability to safely implement physician orders and care plans within LPN scope of practice School-based experience highly preferred
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide Direct Nursing Care- Support patients with daily care needs, treatments, and routine nursing tasks. Medication Administration
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with WABON rules and facility policies. Patient Monitoring
- Observe and document changes in patient condition; report promptly to supervising RN or provider. Wound Care
- Perform wound care and dressing changes as delegated. Documentation
- Maintain accurate, timely charting in compliance with Washington State standards. Care Coordination
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, physicians, therapists, and families to support patient care plans.
