Overview We are seeking energetic and dedicated Full-Time NOC Shift Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team and provide exceptional overnight care. This role offers a sign-on bonus and presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care during the night shift, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Monitor and assess residents' health status during the overnight shift, including vital signs, medication administration, and patient assessments. Respond promptly to resident needs, providing urgent care or triage as necessary while following established protocols. Administer medications, including IV infusions, and manage treatments such as catheter care or wound dressing changes. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, care transitions, or specialized treatments such as dementia or Alzheimer's care. Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously, including airway management and infection control procedures. Communicate effectively with daytime staff and family members regarding resident status and care plans. Requirements Valid RN or LPN license in good standing; experience in critical care, long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings preferred. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; experience with medical documentation is essential. Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration (including injections), and IV infusion techniques. Knowledge of long-term care regulations, dementia/Alzheimer's/dementia care practices, and acute pain management strategies. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in specialized settings like memory or hospice care is a plus. Ability to work independently during the night shift while maintaining high standards of clinical excellence and safety. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide compassionate client communication.
