  • Overnight Shift. Hours are 10:00 p.m.
  • 6:30 a.
m. Depending on our schedule needs, there may be 64, 72 or 80 hours per pay period positions available. Please inquire upon interview and request preferences. Schedules include every other weekend and every other holiday. St. Joseph Residence is not-for-profit Catholic organization seeking caring, compassionate, and responsible nurses to join our direct care clinical team at our 50-bed skilled nursing facility, providing compassionate care in a faith-based environment, supporting and promoting resident and patient independence, respect, dignity, and community. We invite you to apply if you are a customer service-oriented LPN who enjoys a fast-paced day and can multi-task while giving superior care and customer service. We welcome new graduate nurses to our team! You may qualify to work as a nurse tech if you have completed pharmacology and 1 semester clinicals; or until you test and receive your LPN license. The LPN unit nurse is responsible for managing all aspects of our resident's medical care including medication pass, treatments, evaluating change of condition, and managing the workflow on the unit collaborating with the certified nursing assistants, other departments, and medical professionals, to deliver care that meets the needs of the residents and exceeds their expectations.
Responsibilities Include:
Oversee all areas of resident medical needs, change of condition, and care follow-up Implement resident care plans & educate staff on changes Medication pass, treatments, evaluate for change of condition Supervision of the nursing assistants on the unit fostering a teamwork approach Work in collaboration with team members, resident, practitioners, and family members Provide direct care to residents as needed Responsible for timely and accurate charting in the Point Click Care medical record Current LPN license in the State of Wisconsin May qualify to work as a nurse tech if you have completed pharmacology and 1 semester clinicals; or until you test and receive your LPN license
Note:
Nurse tech wages are a different wage scale than a licensed LPN Current CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to employment

Standard Schedule:
