team! The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the patient care team and is responsible for assisting with providing patient care under the general direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN works within the Professional Practice Model of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
HOURS:
Supplemental or .4 FTE; 32 hours bi-weekly; NOC Shift Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program. Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course. Previous experience beneficial. Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
