65530) Job Summary Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting. The LPN assists with patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation while ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for patients and families Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications within scope of practice, and assisting with daily activities.
- Collaborate with RNs and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other clinical procedures as required.
- Assist patients with mobility, hygiene, and nutrition as needed.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and post-hospital care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for patients.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control procedures, and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and address concerns with compassion and professionalism.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program (Required) Credentials
