Avé Holistic Health & Chiropractic is a busy, established holistic chiropractic office in Spenard looking for a compassionate, skilled, and professional Licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. We work collaboratively to help our patients reduce pain, improve mobility, recover from injuries, and achieve a greater sense of overall well-being. Our massage therapists are an important part of that process—not simply an add-on service. This is a W-2 employee position, not a 1099/independent contractor position. We take care of payroll taxes and workers' compensation coverage so you can focus on what you do best: providing excellent patient care. We're Looking for Someone Who Holds a current Alaska Massage Therapy License Carries an active professional liability insurance policy Has experience with a variety of massage and manual therapy techniques Is confident and skilled in electronic documentation of patient encounters Communicates clearly and professionally with patients and coworkers Has a warm, compassionate, and genuine approach to patient care Maintains strong, healthy professional boundaries Is comfortable working with Veterans and prenatal patients Takes pride in maintaining a high level of professionalism in dress, communication, and conduct Is dependable, responsible, and able to work independently Is genuinely interested in learning and continuing to develop professionally Actively seeks continuing education and opportunities to expand their clinical skill set Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with: Craniosacral therapy training Credentialing with VA/TriWest, BCBS, and/or Aetna Additional training in specialized massage or manual therapy techniques Compensation $50-$60 per hour, depending on appointment type and experience.
