Job Description

Licensed Massage Therapist Altitude Chiropractic & Massage Palmer, Alaska Part-Time Altitude Chiropractic & Massage is seeking a dependable and professional Licensed Massage Therapist to join our established chiropractic and massage clinic in Palmer. Our massage therapists work alongside our chiropractor to provide therapeutic massage for patients with a variety of needs. We are looking for someone who communicates well, maintains strong professional boundaries, completes documentation accurately and on time, and contributes positively to a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide 60-minute therapeutic massage sessions Adapt treatment to each patient's needs and tolerance Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients Maintain appropriate draping and professional boundaries Complete accurate SOAP notes within the required timeframe Keep the massage room clean, organized, and ready for patients Assist with clinic laundry between appointments, including transferring loads between the washer and dryer and folding clean linens as needed Communicate scheduling or patient concerns promptly with management Follow clinic policies, HIPAA requirements, and professional standards Work cooperatively with the chiropractor, front desk, and other massage therapists
Qualifications:
Current Alaska Massage Therapist license in good standing Professional liability insurance Strong communication and time-management skills Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to complete documentation accurately and promptly Experience with therapeutic, medical, deep-tissue, myofascial, or similar techniques is preferred Experience in a chiropractic or healthcare office is helpful but not required

Schedule:
This is a part-time, in-person position. Available days and hours will be discussed during the interview. Applicants should include their preferred availability when applying.
Compensation:
Competitive compensation based on experience and the clinic's established pay structure. Full compensation details will be discussed during the interview.
