Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, physiology, and anatomy for effective treatment planning Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment options, progress, and post-session care instructions Maintain detailed and accurate records of each session, including medical terminology relevant to treatment plans and pain management strategies Ensure client comfort and safety throughout each session by adhering to proper hygiene standards and CPR protocols Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care Promote a positive client experience through excellent customer service, active listening, and empathetic communication Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in CPR Proven experience in massage therapy with expertise in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical or occupational health treatments Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop effective treatment plans Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Prior experience working in med spas or similar healthcare environments is preferred but not required Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere to safety standards at all times Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a tangible difference in people's lives.
