Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver personalized massage treatments that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and relaxation goals through professional, attentive care. Duties Provide a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other specialized techniques tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety during sessions Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies for pain management and relaxation Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and medical history in compliance with privacy regulations Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and preferences, fostering trust and satisfaction Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance skills and expand service offerings Skills Exceptional patient service skills with a focus on active listening and client communication Proficiency in various massage techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, trigger point therapy, and prenatal massage Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Experience in patient assessment to develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs Ability to manage pain relief strategies effectively through targeted massage techniques Knowledge of occupational health principles related to workplace ergonomics and injury prevention CPR certification is required to ensure safety during all treatments Prior experience in med spas or medical settings is highly desirable for this role Join us in creating a relaxing sanctuary where clients feel valued and cared for.
