Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. We welcome both new and experienced therapists, and are committed to providing you a true place of solace to call your workplace home. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional therapeutic services to our clients, utilizing a variety of techniques to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and medical terminology, as well as excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
Provided:
Very large clientele. Elevated service prices. Massage tables. Massage rooms. Massage oil. Massage service items (hot stones, towels, warmers, facial products, etc.) Sheets, cleaning supplies, etc. Responsibilities Perform various types of massage techniques tailored to individual client needs. Be able to perform basic facial services included in spa packages. (Training provided.) Service providers must assist in turning over, folding and putting away laundry to keep a clean spa environment. Must assist with basic cleaning tasks within the spa. Be able to operate a basic POS system and check clients in/out. Provide education and guidance on pain management and self-care strategies to clients when applicable. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings when necessary. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients in the med spa facility. Uphold high standards of customer service by fostering positive relationships with clients and addressing their concerns effectively. Qualifications Valid massage therapy license or certification from an accredited institution. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Must be comfortable with hot stone, prenatal, deep tissue and swedish massage. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Ability to perform basic facial services is a plus, but not required. Other Details Pay is delivered weekly at a rate of 40%. Service providers may select their own schedule and hours, but must be communicated to spa manager when changes are made. Time off scheduled hours must be communicated ahead of time. We also welcome future massage therapy school graduates to apply and join us at entry-level. We look forward to hearing from you!
