Job Overview The Fort Performance & Chiropractic is seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Massage Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver specialized massage therapy treatments designed to promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse patient population. Your expertise will help clients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their quality of life through targeted therapeutic techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your deep understanding of physiology and anatomy while providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs Deliver various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other therapeutic modalities to address specific musculoskeletal issues Educate patients on pain management strategies, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health goals Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical observations in compliance with medical standards Collaborate with Chiropractic Physicians to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including CPR certification and infection control procedures Stay updated on the latest advancements in massage therapy and occupational health practices to continually enhance service quality Skills Strong patient service orientation with excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients Proficiency in deep tissue massage techniques and trigger point therapy for effective pain relief Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and tailor treatments accordingly Familiarity with pain management strategies and occupational health principles Experience working in med spas or similar wellness environments is highly desirable CPR certification and ongoing professional development in massage therapy are required Join us if you're eager to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through expert therapeutic touch!
