Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them to alleviate pain, reduce stress, and promote overall wellness. You will be responsible for assessing client needs and customizing treatments to suit individual preferences and health conditions. A strong background in anatomy and physiology, along with excellent customer service skills, is essential for success in this role. We have clients ready for you to join us. We can keep you busy! Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management. Assess clients' physical conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough evaluations. Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual client needs and preferences. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to enhance patient care. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Requirements Certification from an accredited massage therapy program. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Proven experience in customer service within a healthcare or wellness setting. Familiarity with occupational health practices is a plus. Ability to perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
