Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall well-being. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas requiring special attention. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide guidance for ongoing wellness practices. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical or physiological information. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to all sanitation standards and maintaining proper equipment use. Stay current with industry best practices, new massage techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality. Collaborate with other health professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care and pain management strategies. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). Proven experience in massage therapy, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence and client satisfaction. Ability to perform patient assessments effectively and adapt techniques based on individual health conditions or occupational health requirements. Prior experience working in med spa environments or similar settings is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pain management and therapeutic treatments is advantageous. Pay:
$33.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
