Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and other modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop customized treatment plans Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance results and prevent future discomforts Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and medical history in compliance with privacy regulations Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and adjust treatments as necessary Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually improve service quality Uphold all safety standards including CPR certification and adhere to occupational health guidelines Skills Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient conditions and target specific muscle groups Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills that foster trust and rapport Expertise in various massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management strategies Ability to communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans and health concerns Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and patient assessments CPR certification and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times Prior experience in med spa or occupational health settings is a plus for understanding specialized client needs Join us in delivering transformative wellness experiences that empower clients to feel their best every day!
