- $27 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Massage Therapy License Acute pain management Patient interaction Licensed Massage Therapist Full Job Description We are seeking a skilled and reliable licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing mighty team.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 3 Saturday's per month
- Perform various massage techniques including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and pain management techniques
- Assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide nurturing client service and ensure client comfort throughout the massage session
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines
- Conduct physical examinations to identify any underlying health conditions that may affect the massage treatment
Experience:
- Proven experience and certifications as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Strong understanding of various massage techniques and their benefits
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess patients' needs and customize treatment plans accordingly
- Knowledge of acute pain management techniques
- Familiarity with occupational health standards and physical examinations
