Position Profile The Massage Therapist promotes patient/family-centered care through exemplary customer service and providing massage therapy services to provide comfort and relaxation. Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary care team. Responsibilities Develops and maintains therapeutic relationships. Provides accurate observation of patient needs. Provides quality massage therapy. Assures patient safety. Provides effective patient/family teaching. Collaborates in providing patient care. Creates timely and accurate documentation. Utilizes resources effectively and efficiently. Maintains professional knowledge and enhances professional skills. Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma. Graduate of accredited massage therapy program. Obtained Arizona Massage Therapy licensure. Valid Arizona drivers license and insured automobile. Minimum of one year of experience in massage therapy with a focus on pain relief. Previous experience with end of life care, preferred.
