At Astonished, we are a therapist-led spa. Our therapists enjoy the flexibility to both create and modify their work schedules, offer their own specialized services and grow a dedicated clientele in a shared, relaxed and welcoming environment. Astonished Spa is fortunate to regularly attract new customers in addition to our robust roster of existing and repeat customers. We are currently hiring therapists who are available for evenings and weekends , as those are our busiest and most requested times.

Compensation:

Base pay of $27-$32 per hour of services performed (depending on experience) + 100% of all tips Opportunities to earn additional income by selling memberships and products, earning 5-star reviews mentioning your name, and a percentage of upgrade sales 1099 Independent Contractor position As an independent contractor you have control over the hours you work and can take advantage of many tax write-offs for work-related expenses. Astonished supports our therapists by managing our marketing, website, phone calls, promotions, inventory and more so you can focus on offering the best service to our clients. This collaboration has kept our current staff nearly 100% booked with opportunities to grow immediately during evenings and weekends. We're looking for responsible, driven, collaborative individuals who are excited to build their own client base, take pride in their work, and help grow our spa. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently are essential, as there is minimal supervision on-site. Duties Perform customized massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual patient needs. Provide exceptional client service by creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages open communication and comfort. Exceptional time-management and self-management, arrive on time for all booked appointments, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Maintain a clean and pleasant work environment by taking out trash, cleaning countertops, and resetting shared spaces after a client visit. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing. Available primarily evenings and weekends Certified in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, prenatal and other techniques Solid knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients. Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism.
