Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans. Administer various types of massages, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation. Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness and communicate with healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress while ensuring confidentiality. Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming environment for clients and addressing their concerns effectively. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy and occupational health. Collaborate with other health professionals within a med spa setting to provide comprehensive care for patients. Skills Strong patient service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Proficient in patient assessment techniques to identify specific needs and conditions. Expertise in various modalities of massage for effective pain management. Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Excellent customer service skills that enhance the client experience. Knowledge of occupational health principles as they relate to massage therapy practices. Experience in a spa environment is a plus but not required.
