Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a deep understanding of anatomy and physiology. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic services to clients, helping them manage pain, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. Your expertise in customer service and patient care will ensure a positive experience for all clients. Our hours that we are needing Monday thru Thursday from 3pm to 6pm Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and health histories to determine appropriate treatment plans. Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client requirements. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, including treatment plans and progress notes using medical terminology. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients before, during, and after treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient service and pain management strategies. Stay updated on advancements in occupational health practices and continuously improve skills through professional development. Experience Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with knowledge in anatomy and physiology. Familiarity with med spa environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on patient care and satisfaction. Understanding of pain management techniques is a plus. Certification from an accredited massage therapy school is required, along with any necessary state licensure.
