Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current condition, and treatment goals Educate clients on pain management strategies and post-treatment care to maximize benefits Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to occupational health protocols and sanitation procedures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, answering questions clearly, and fostering a positive client experience Qualifications Valid certification as a Massage Therapist from an accredited program with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations Proven experience in patient service, with strong skills in patient assessment and personalized treatment planning Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare environment is preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about their treatment options Knowledge of occupational health standards and maintaining strict hygiene practices Embark on a rewarding career where your healing touch transforms lives!
