Massage Therapist - Muses Day Spa Muses Day Spa is looking for a professional and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our team in Fresno, CA. Preferred Specialization While we welcome all qualified applicants, specialization in Lymphatic Drainage is highly preferred for this role. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and tension. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand specific concerns, preferences, and health conditions. Educate clients on treatment plans, self-care techniques, and post-session care to maximize benefits. Maintain the Muses brand standard with all guests and keep stations neat and clean daily. Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health history in compliance with privacy standards. Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and clinic policies.

Compensation & Benefits Base Hourly:

$17.00 per hour.

Service Commission:

12% per service for the first 90 days, increasing to 15% after probation.

Retail Commission:

10% on all retail sales.

100% of all tips received are yours in full. Requirements Must hold a valid Massage License and be in good standing with the California State Board. Proven experience in patient service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Open availability preferred; weekend availability is a condition of employment. Commitment to high standards of work ethics and professionalism. Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to client care. Skills Proven experience in patient service with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Deep understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health. Skilled in various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management. Excellent patient assessment abilities to tailor treatments based on individual needs. Knowledge of occupational health practices and med spa procedures is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for educating clients and collaborating with healthcare teams. Passion for promoting wellness through compassionate care and professional expertise.
