In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being. As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while providing exceptional care to clients seeking relief from stress, muscle tension, or injury. Your expertise in various massage techniques and understanding of human physiology will be instrumental in creating tailored treatment plans that meet each client's unique needs. Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and pain points. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health histories, current conditions, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to develop effective treatment plans that support pain management and occupational health recovery. Maintain detailed documentation of each session, including client progress, treatment details, and any relevant medical terminology. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment by adhering to hygiene standards and respecting client confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with clients to adjust treatments based on feedback and evolving needs for optimal results . Qualifications Valid massage therapy license . Proven experience with patient service, patient assessment, and diverse massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Familiarity with pain management strategies and occupational health considerations. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting required.
