Position Overview:
We are seeking an expert, highly motivated, and growth-oriented Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) to join our team. This is a PRN (as-needed) position to begin, offering the immediate opportunity to convert into a regular Part-Time or Full-Time role based on client demand and your personal schedule growth. While we currently have more client demand than our existing massage therapist can accommodate, the ideal candidate must be an entrepreneurial professional who will actively drive new business. You will be expected to create dynamic on-site digital content and leverage modern social media channels to fill your personal booking pipeline.Mandatory Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 consecutive years of active, professional hands-on massage therapy experience.Licensure:
Active and unblemished California Massage Therapy Council ( CAMTC ) certification.Digital Self-Marketing Savvy:
Proven track record of leveraging personal and brand social media presence to successfully attract, drive, and retain a loyal client base.Technical Breadth & Core Modalities:
Demonstrated capability to confidently execute the following menu modalities currently offered at our facility: Swedish Massage- Light, rhythmic, flowing strokes for deep relaxation and gentle detoxification. Deep Tissue Massage
- Slow, intense pressure targeting deep muscle layers, chronic tension, and adhesions. Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- Specialized gentle mapping to encourage natural lymph flow and post-op recovery. Prenatal Massage
- Specialized pampering techniques restricted exclusively to 2nd and 3rd trimesters. Oncology Massage
- Compassionate, clinical bodywork tailored for clients managing cancer diagnoses. Reflexology Massage
- Focused zone therapy targeting corresponding pressure points in the hands and feet. Therapeutic Massage
- Customized clinical massage using medium pressure and targeted compression to resolve orthopedic patterns. Akahina Signature Multi-Modality Sessions
- Ability to perform integrated ultimate relaxation rituals.
