Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will provide professional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs effectively. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, medical terminology, and anatomy understanding. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for pain management and occupational health concerns. Maintain detailed records of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards. Ensure a welcoming, safe, and comfortable environment for all clients by providing excellent customer service and attentive care. Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance service quality. Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage modalities such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Familiarity with pain management strategies and occupational health considerations. Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform effective treatment approaches.
