Job Description
Overview Our office is a very high energy, rock and roll environment(we don't play spa music). Our philosophy is centered around giving back to the community by providing extreme sports/deep tissue massage to local athletes and any people that use and abuse their bodies. As well as volunteering at local events and races throughout the year. We are well known for sponsoring at Western States 100 mile race and Sacramento's California International Marathon. Our extreme style of massage typically doesn't feel good and we work through clothes during our sessions. Our clients get great benefits from our work, which keeps us very busy. This is a great opportunity to work in an upbeat environment, helping clients improve their athletic performance, prevent injury during training, and help out people in pain. No prior experience needed. Starting pay is $20 an hour when not massaging and $30 an hour when massaging plus tips! We're looking for someone that will match our energy. We're all about taking our work seriously but not taking ourselves seriously, we look out for each other and are an excellent team Duties Massage clients, when not massaging: answer phone, wash/dry laundry, schedule clients, occasional cleaning, and organizing folders. Requirements Must be a licensed massage therapist in the state of California Must have an advanced level of English where you feel comfortable having conversations all day. We typically talk with clients through most massages.
