Overview Join our Community Healing Center as a Licensed Massage Therapist and bring relief, relaxation, and wellness to our diverse clientele. In this vital role, you will deliver professional massage therapy services that promote healing, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. Duties Perform customized massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client's physiology and health goals. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend ongoing therapies for pain management and occupational health improvements. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to all sanitation protocols and safety guidelines. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or med spa staff to develop comprehensive wellness plans for clients. Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education to enhance your skills in areas such as physiology knowledge and advanced massage techniques. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification to practice professionally. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices. Skilled in various massage modalities including deep tissue massage, etc. Strong understanding of pain management strategies and occupational health considerations. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and service delivery.
