Responsibilities Perform customized massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client health history and current conditions. Apply your knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments. Educate clients on pain management techniques, occupational health practices, and self-care strategies post-treatment. Maintain detailed records of each session, including client progress and treatment notes, adhering to confidentiality standards. Ensure a safe environment by following all health and safety protocols, including CPR certification requirements. Provide exceptional patient service by creating a relaxing atmosphere and addressing client concerns with professionalism and empathy. Qualifications Proven experience in massage therapy with specialization in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques. Certification in massage therapy from an accredited program; CPR certification required. Prior experience in med spa or occupational health settings is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with a genuine desire to improve client well-being. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop tailored treatment plans. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and maintaining detailed treatment records.
