Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Massage Therapist with a minimum of five years of professional practice to join our dynamic team on a contractual, on-call basis. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop customized treatment plans. Deliver various massage modalities including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques aimed at pain management and muscle relaxation. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe treatment practices and effective outcomes. Educate patients on self-care strategies, occupational health considerations, and ongoing wellness practices. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic standards. Ensure a welcoming, professional environment by delivering exceptional patient service and addressing patient concerns with empathy and clarity. Stay current with industry trends, certifications, and best practices through continuous education and training. Skills Proven expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to support accurate assessments and effective treatments. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments to tailor treatments effectively. Experience working in med spa environments or similar settings is highly desirable. Knowledge of occupational health principles relevant to workplace wellness programs. Demonstrated commitment to customer care, professionalism, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
