We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a vital part of our practice, you will work closely with our chiropractors and healthcare team to provide exceptional care to patients, especially those involved in personal injury cases. Your role will involve assessing patients' needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and administering therapeutic massages to promote healing and pain relief.Responsibilities:
1.Patient Assessment:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, injuries, and pain levels to determine the most appropriate massage therapy techniques. 2.Treatment Planning:
Collaborate with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their specific conditions and therapeutic goals. 3.Therapeutic Massage:
Administer various massage techniques, such as deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, and trigger point therapy, to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation and healing. 4.Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory requirements. 5.Patient Education:
Educate patients about the benefits of massage therapy, proper self-care techniques, and strategies for preventing future injuries. 6.Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including chiropractors, physical therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care. 7.Professional Development:
Stay informed about current trends and advancements in massage therapy, attend relevant workshops or training programs, and pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.Qualifications:
1.Massage Therapy License:
Valid license to practice massage therapy. 2.Skills:
Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques, strong interpersonal and communication skills, empathy and compassion for patients, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 3.Professionalism:
Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy. 4.Physical Stamina:
Ability to perform massage therapy treatments for extended periods and lift/move equipment as needed. 5.Availability:
Flexible schedule availability, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient appointments and clinic needs.Benefits:
