Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, pain points, and wellness goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate massage therapies for ongoing health benefits Maintain detailed records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with privacy regulations Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain treatment procedures, and provide exceptional customer service Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to continually enhance your skills Skills Proven experience in massage therapy with a strong understanding of physiology and anatomy knowledge Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Proficiency in various massage modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and develop customized treatment plans accordingly Knowledge of occupational health principles related to workplace ergonomics and injury prevention Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is required; additional certifications in medical terminology or specialized massage techniques are a plus Strong client communication skills combined with a professional demeanor that fosters trust and comfort Join us as a Licensed Massage Therapist where your expertise will elevate the health and happiness of our clients.
