Alleviate Sports Massage in Boulder is looking for a reliable Colorado Licensed Massage Therapist interested in flexible, part-time independent contractor work. This opportunity is ideal for an LMT looking to supplement their existing schedule and gradually build additional clientele. You do not need to bring an existing client base to apply. Alleviate is a growing sports massage practice, so I want to be transparent that a minimum number of appointments or income is not guaranteed. Clients may be provided through Alleviate's website, referrals, existing client base, marketing and new-client inquiries as demand allows.

COMPENSATION

60-minute massage — $45 90-minute massage — $65 120-minute massage — $85 plus 100% of gratuities For clients you independently generate, you receive 70% of collected massage service revenue, plus 100% of gratuities. At Alleviate's current standard pricing, that equals: $115 60-minute massage → $80.50 to you $155 90-minute massage → $108.50 to you This higher percentage applies to clients you generate through your own referrals, networking, existing professional relationships or independent marketing efforts.

FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

There are no required shifts or minimum hours. You choose the availability you'd like to offer within the treatment room's available hours. The room is currently available primarily Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM. You are not expected to sit at the office waiting for appointments when you aren't booked. This makes the position particularly well suited for someone who already has other work, a private practice, or simply wants to add a few appointments to their week.

WHAT ALLEVIATE PROVIDES

Alleviate provides a fully equipped professional massage room inside Alternative Medicine Outpost in Boulder, including massage table and shared equipment, linens, online scheduling, payment processing, website presence and administrative support. Contractors remain free to maintain their own practice, work elsewhere, market themselves independently and control their own availability and professional treatment methods.

WHO I'M LOOKING FOR

You must have an active Colorado massage therapy license and professional liability insurance. Sports massage, deep tissue, myofascial, trigger-point or injury-focused bodywork experience is a plus, but I'm primarily looking for someone who provides excellent bodywork, communicates well and is dependable. My goal isn't simply to find someone to fill a room. I'm looking for another quality therapist whom I can confidently refer clients to when my own schedule is full or when their availability is a better fit for the client. Interested?
