Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist to join our dynamic wellness team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and attentive care. Responsibilities Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices for ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed treatment records, including client progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns during sessions. Adhere to all safety protocols, including CPR certification and proper sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay informed about the latest developments in physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pain management techniques to continually enhance your skills. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in massage therapy with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology. Proficiency in various massage modalities such as Swedish massage, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments. Strong patient service skills with the ability to assess client needs accurately and communicate effectively. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in medical terminology or pain management are a plus. Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Ability to maintain professionalism while providing energetic and motivating care that encourages client loyalty.
