Duties Perform therapeutic massage sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client needs. Conduct patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Develop customized treatment plans focused on pain management, muscle relaxation, and overall wellness. Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing health benefits. Maintain detailed records of each session, including treatment notes, patient responses, and progress. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to support comprehensive patient care. Requirements Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or local regulations. Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction and care quality. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy for effective pain management. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable.
