As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their experience. Your expertise in various massage techniques, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy, will play a crucial role in promoting overall wellness and relaxation. Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Utilize various techniques such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring clients feel comfortable and relaxed during their sessions. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary. Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in massage therapy. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to enhance patient care. Requirements Valid state license or certification in massage therapy. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to therapeutic practices Proficiency in various massage techniques including deep tissue and trigger point therapy. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Ability to assess patient needs effectively and develop appropriate treatment plans. Previous experience in a spa setting is a plus but not required.
