Responsibilities Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual health conditions and goals. Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and relevant medical or physiological information using proper medical terminology. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols, including sanitation standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to optimize patient outcomes. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and service quality. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing. Proven experience in patient service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and empathetic communication. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management. Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced modalities preferred. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans accordingly. Familiarity with occupational health principles and med spa environments is a plus. Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a professional setting.
