In this role, you will deliver exceptional massage therapy services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and enhance overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized treatment plans and professional care. This is an independent contractor position. You have an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on people's lives while working in a collaborative health setting. - With this position, you have the ability to set your own schedule and hours! Tues, Thurs, and Friday mornings are unavailable, but there is open availability outside of those hours - We are looking for a part time therapist. This is an independent contractor position Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs. Prenatal massages also preferred but not required Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with occupational health standards and licensing regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive pain management strategies Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active licensing credentials Proven experience in patient service, assessment, and delivering various massage techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Prior experience working in a medical spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable Familiarity with patient assessment procedures and developing customized treatment plans based on individual needs Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients Experience working within healthcare or wellness environments that require adherence to safety protocols and confidentiality standards Join us to help clients feel their best through expert massage therapy!
