Job Description

Water's Edge Resort & Spa is seeking a talented and skilled Connecticut Licensed Massage Therapist to join our busy, guest-focused spa team. If you are passionate about wellness, enjoy creating exceptional guest experiences, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide professional massage and body treatments while delivering outstanding customer service in a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere. We provide ongoing training on our signature spa services and treatment protocols to help you succeed. This position is prevailing minimum wage/fixed rate commissions/gratuity based.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and industry standards. Educate guests on wellness, treatment benefits, and recommended home care. Prepare, clean, sanitize, and restock treatment rooms before and after each service. Maintain thorough knowledge of spa services, products, and retail offerings. Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and products are used efficiently. Follow all state licensing requirements and spa sanitation and sterilization standards. Maintain a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our guests and business. Communicate professionally with guests and team members while helping create a positive, welcoming environment. Assist with daily spa operations and support fellow team members as needed. Current Connecticut Massage Therapist License Knowledge of a variety of massage modalities and body treatments. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands. Team-oriented with a passion for health, wellness, and guest satisfaction. Ability to perform the physical demands of massage therapy, including applying sustained pressure, repetitive hand and arm movements, bending, reaching, lifting, and using upper body strength to safely and effectively provide treatments. Ability to lift and move spa equipment and supplies as needed and maintain the physical stamina required to perform multiple treatments during a shift.
