Responsibilities Provide professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client's needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals. Apply advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy, pain management strategies, and deep tissue work to address specific issues. Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment routines, and occupational health tips to support ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with health regulations. Ensure a safe, comfortable environment for clients by adhering to sanitation standards and professional protocols. Collaborate with other healthcare or med spa professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans when necessary. Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge base. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy. Expertise in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and educating clients effectively. Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable. Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism at all times.
