Duties Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to target specific muscle groups and alleviate pain. Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual needs, health conditions, and treatment goals. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to tailor treatments effectively and ensure safe practice. Educate clients on self-care strategies, occupational health practices, and pain management techniques to support long-term wellness. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any relevant medical information in compliance with clinic policies. Ensure a welcoming environment by delivering exceptional customer service and addressing client questions or concerns promptly. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist in accordance with state or regional regulations. Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles. Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.
